About the Church and Ministry Center
The Outpost Center will be used to share the Love of Christ with unbelievers, new believers, and those who have walked with the Lord for days or decades. We will serve the needs of the public, locally and globally, in creative and compelling ways that draw them into and enhance authentic and vibrant personal relationships with Jesus. We will be a refuge to those in need, providing healing and restoration, as well as a place of education and training for those who love and serve the Lord and even those who haven’t met Him yet!
As a Church and Ministry Center, we will invite the public to use our facilities for weddings, intercessory prayer, celebrations, receptions, funerals, food distribution, gatherings, teaching, training, equipping and other ministry related activities.
At The Outpost, we believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God: He was crucified, resurrected, and sits at the right hand of the Father. The blood of Jesus Christ shed for us washes away our sins and allows us through its atoning power back into the presence of God. He is the way, the truth and the life and there is no other way appointed for man to enter into heaven. The Word of God is eternal, and everything we need for Godly living is found in the Word of God.
We are a non-denominational Christian Ministry. Our mission is to be a place where the Spirit of the Lord anoints all who enter to truthfully proclaim and share restoration and freedom in Christ! Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we will feed, teach, train, equip and disciple as God leads.
(Luke 4:18, Isaiah 61:1-3)
We envision that the Outpost will be a place where all people experience a foretaste of heaven on earth! That our love for God and others will be so palpable that everyone who experiences it will be drawn into their own personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ!
(Matthew 6:10, 5:16, 1Peter 2:12)

WALKING with GOD
Men of the Outpost First Thursdays 2017 Series
“We can’t find life without God, and we can’t find God if we don’t know how to walk intimately with Him."
We have purchased a copy of a book for you, it is entitled “Walking with God” by John Eldredge, it was purchased for you because we care about your life with God and we hope you will join us and a band of other men trek through this book with its companion video and study guide over the next year…..live the next year walking with God and perhaps walk with Him for life, in fellowship with some like-minded men.
A passage from the Gospel of John will show you what we will be studying. Jesus is talking about his relationship with us, how he is the Good Shepherd and we are his sheep. Listen to how he describes the relationship:
“I tell you the truth, the man who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. The man who enters the gate is the shepherd of his sheep. The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice....
Whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy, I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John10:1-4, 9-10) 1984 NIV
....Jesus is saying - “I do want life for you. To the full. But you have to realize there is a thief. He’s trying to destroy you. There are false shepherds too. Don’t listen to them. Don’t just wander off looking for pasture. You need to do more than believe in me. You have to stay close to me. Listen to my voice. Let me lead.”
Join us and other men on a journey of the heart. God is at work banding His men together, come and be a part of His teaching. We will be meeting on the first Thursday of each month at starting at 7:00pm at The Outpost.

Our study this year is on the book of Romans:
Authored by the apostle Paul under the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit, this piece of ancient writing has become the most influential letter in the world. The book of Romans is the fullest and most comprehensive statement of Christianity. Paul’s letter to the Romans looks at the world through a wide-angle lens. Romans sweeps from the depths of our brokenness to the greatness of God’s grace; from the grandeur of God’s plan back down to the details of daily life.It is a theological text, practical helps and a missionary appeal. But it is also a letter. Despite Roman’s vast scope, one word applies to every part: righteousness.
The teaching of Romans can be broken into the following outline:
• Humanity’s unrighteousness and great need of true righteousness (1:1-3:20)
• God’s gracious gift of righteousness through Jesus Christ (3:21-8:39)
• Proof of God’s righteousness in His glorious plan (9:1-11:36)
• God’s righteousness worked out in His people’s lives (12:1-16:27)
Our unrighteousness. People act as if God is not there. Creation should draw people to seek God. Instead, they worship creation rather than the Creator. God has punished this willful ignorance by giving people over to their sins. This spiritual outworking of sin drags the human race downward and enslaves us in invisible chains.
Our great need. When we were unable to do good, understand the gospel or seek and find God on our own, God took the initiative to save us. Through the work of Jesus Christ, God has provided the righteousness we lack. Salvation is given from God alone.
Renewed, eternal relationship. Being justified by God through faith, we now have a new status before God and new privileges as He molds us more and more into His character through our sanctification. Now we are at peace with God. We belong to the living Lord Jesus Christ and are joined to Him forever.
Sovereignty of God. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Salvation flows from God’s plan and activity. It is God’s work, not human effort or accomplishment. God will keep working until all His purposes are complete.
Renewing of our mind. How we think determines how we act. If we think as Christians, we will begin to act as Christians. A lack of genuine Christian thinking always leads to a lack of humble, sacrificial, God-glorifying Christian behavior..
The last days. Christians are not to live for the present time alone, but rather with their eyes fixed heavenward. As we do so, we serve our fellow Christians and let the Lord's name be known so others may come to a saving faith in Him.
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
