Curious how we got The Outpost land? The story of how this land “landed” with board member Mark Halla is nothing less than a “God-cidence”.
In the early ’90s, while Mark slept, God revealed beautiful land with fields, trees, and steep ravines, and said, ‘This is the land I have for you, go and find it.’ For years Mark searched in vain and slowly dismissed his dream. Then, over 20 years later, while driving west on Hwy. 212 he noticed a farm with a white cross leaning against their barn. Mark felt compelled and urged by the Holy Spirit to inquire about the land. And during this first tour of the property, he became certain that this was the exact land God had asked him to find.

The journey of The Outpost Center continues to remind us that it is indeed part of God’s perfect plan!
We continue to be reminded that nothing is impossible for God. Upon purchasing and reviewing city permits and rules for the land, Mark realized he mistakenly omitted a $100,000 budgetary allowance for septic and well. Without adequate funds, their hopes for a future with this land would be impossible. But of course, God knew better because that very day, unbeknownst to Mark, the City of Carver would ask him for permission to drill a test well on Mark's new property in return the well would be his, free and clear!
